What is the "StudRussia"?
It is an All-Russian competition for international students studying in Russia who have already achieved success in science, sports, creativity, volunteering, or public activities. It is your chance to get noticed, gain recognition, and win valuable prizes.
Who can participate?
Participants in the Competition are foreign students from Russian universities aged 18 to 35 years, studying at a bachelor’s degree (not lower than the second year), specialist’s degree (not lower than the second year), basic higher education (not lower than the second year), master’s degree, specialized higher education, postgraduate study or residency of any form of study, regardless of the source of funding.
How much does it cost to participate?
Participation in the Competition is completely free of charge.
Who is the organizer?
The competition is organized by the University of Science and Technology MISIS (Moscow) with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.
What prizes and opportunities await the winners and finalists?
All finalists and winners will receive diplomas and commemorative prizes. The highest award is the Grand Prix for "Best International Student."

Scientific activity
The award is given to international students of Russian universities for achievements in the field of science, participants and winners of scientific Olympiads, conferences and forums, who have scientific publications dedicated to the development and promotion of scientific research in Russia.

Nomination «Creative Spirit»
Culture and Art
The award is given to international students of Russian universities who have achieved excellence in the cultural and artistic fields. These students are participants or winners of various creative competitions, such as vocal, choreographic, theatrical, and visual arts events, as well as original genre events and KVN competitions. They have also participated in festivals at the university, regional, national, and international levels and have significantly contributed to the development of young people’s cultural life.
What is required
Achievements and victories in various creative contests.

Social activity
This award is presented to international students of Russian universities who have demonstrated outstanding achievements in public service, having proven themselves most effectively in youth policy and student governance at the university, city, regional, and national levels. These individuals have made significant contributions to enhancing the quality of life for students and the local community, as well as fostering an active social and civic stance among young people.

The presence of achievements in social activities.

Nomination «Russian Language & Culture»
Activities aimed at promoting and studying Russian language and culture.
The nomination is for international students who have achieved outstanding results in promoting Russian language and culture. This includes participants and winners of Olympiads, conferences, and forums dedicated to studying and popularizing Russian language and the cultural characteristics of people of Russia. It also includes those who have been involved in organizing and promoting events aimed at practicing and studying Russian language.

Organization or promotion of projects aimed at learning Russian language.
Nomination «Global Compassion»
Volunteer activity
International students from Russian universities are honored for their achievements in volunteering. Participants and organizers of charitable events at the university, city, regional, national, and international levels are recognized for their significant contributions to the development and promotion of volunteer values.

Nomination «Summit Seekers»
Sports activity
For international students of Russian universities who have achieved success in sports and physical education. Winners, prize-winners, and participants of university, regional, national, and international sports competitions and olympiads who have significantly contributed to the development of sports at their university, in their city, region, and the Russian Federation are eligible for this award.
What is required
Wins, prizes, or participation in various sports competitions at different levels.
Contribution to the promotion of sports within the student community and in the region.
Nomination «Voice of a Generation»
Media
The award is given to international students at Russian universities for achievements in media and communications, winners, runners-up, and participants in competitions, festivals, and projects in journalism, blogging, press services, and student media (at the university, regional, national, and international levels), who have contributed to the development of the media space in the life of the university, city, region, and the Russian Federation.

Grand Prix «The Best International Student»
General nomination
The winner of the Grand Prix "Best Foreign Student" is the participant of the All-Russian (final) stage of the Competition who demonstrated the best performance in solving in-person tasks, as well as having the greatest number of outstanding achievements during the academic year preceding the Competition.

Successful participation in the face-to-face stages of the competition.
