What is the "StudRussia"?
It is an All-Russian competition for international students studying in Russia who have already achieved success in science, sports, creativity, volunteering, or public activities. It is your chance to get noticed, gain recognition, and win valuable prizes.
Who can participate?
International students enrolled in Russian universities in Bachelor’s (from the 2nd year), Specialist, Master’s, Postgraduate (PhD), or Residency programs. Participants must be between 18 and 30 years old. The main requirement is having verifiable achievements from the last academic year.
How much does it cost to participate?
Participation in the Competition is completely free of charge.
Who is the organizer?
The competition is organized by the University of Science and Technology MISIS (Moscow) with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.
What prizes and opportunities await the winners and finalists?
All finalists and winners will receive diplomas and commemorative prizes. The top award is the Grand Prix "Best International Student" for the most outstanding participants.

Scientific activity
The award is given to international students of Russian universities for achievements in the field of science, participants and winners of scientific Olympiads, conferences and forums, who have scientific publications dedicated to the development and promotion of scientific research in Russia.

Culture and Art
The award is given to international students of Russian universities who have achieved excellence in the cultural and artistic fields. These students are participants or winners of various creative competitions, such as vocal, choreographic, theatrical, and visual arts events, as well as original genre events and KVN competitions. They have also participated in festivals at the university, regional, national, and international levels and have significantly contributed to the development of young people’s cultural life.

Social activity
This award is presented to international students of Russian universities who have demonstrated outstanding achievements in public service, having proven themselves most effectively in youth policy and student governance at the university, city, regional, and national levels. These individuals have made significant contributions to enhancing the quality of life for students and the local community, as well as fostering an active social and civic stance among young people.

Nomination «Russian Language & Culture»
Activities aimed at promoting and studying Russian language and culture.
The nomination is for international students who have achieved outstanding results in promoting Russian language and culture. This includes participants and winners of Olympiads, conferences, and forums dedicated to studying and popularizing Russian language and the cultural characteristics of people of Russia. It also includes those who have been involved in organizing and promoting events aimed at practicing and studying Russian language.

Volunteer activity
International students from Russian universities are honored for their achievements in volunteering. Sports activity
For international students of Russian universities who have achieved success in sports and physical education. Winners, prize-winners, and participants of university, regional, national, and international sports competitions and olympiads who have significantly contributed to the development of sports at their university, in their city, region, and the Russian Federation are eligible for this award.
What is required
Wins, prizes, or participation in various sports competitions at different levels.

Grand Prix «The Best International Student»
General nomination
The winner of the Grand Prix "Best International Student" is a contestant who has taken a leading position in several categories of the Competition and proved themselves in solving face-to-face tasks within the framework of the district and / or All-Russian stages of the Competition; during the academic year preceding the Competition, they have more outstanding achievements in several categories of the Competition.
