It is an All-Russian competition for international students studying in Russia who have already achieved success in science, sports, creativity, volunteering, or public activities. It is your chance to get noticed, gain recognition, and win valuable prizes.

Participants in the Competition are foreign students from Russian universities aged 18 to 35 years, studying at a bachelor’s degree (not lower than the second year), specialist’s degree (not lower than the second year), basic higher education (not lower than the second year), master’s degree, specialized higher education, postgraduate study or residency of any form of study, regardless of the source of funding.

Participation in the Competition is completely free of charge.

The competition is organized by the University of Science and Technology MISIS (Moscow) with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.

2) Complete the application.
3) Attach your portfolio as a single PDF file no larger than 20 MB.
4) Submit your application by September 20, 2026.

A portfolio is a collection of your most significant achievements: diplomas, diplomas, certificates, letters of appreciation. You can attach up to 10 achievements, compiled into one file. The higher the level of the event (university, regional, national, international), the more points you will receive.

Tell us why you chose this category, what you’ve already accomplished, and what your goals are. Why are you participating in the competition and what are your expectations? Your letter should be logical, sincere, and showcase your uniqueness. It should be at least 350 words long.

A participant can submit an application in only one nomination of the competition.

The competition consists of three stages:
1. Qualifying (in absentia): your portfolio will be assessed by an Expert Committee. Results will be announced by September 28.
2. District (in-person): If you pass the selection, you will be invited to a forum in your federal district. You will need to create a video presentation and complete in-person tasks. This stage will last until October 31.
3. All-Russian (in-person, final): the best participants from each district will travel to the final forum in Moscow in November-December 2026.

This is a short video (1−2 minutes) where you talk about yourself, your journey in Russia, and your achievements. The language is Russian. The key elements are creativity, passion, and relevance to the chosen category.

The district stages will be held at the venues of co-organizing universities in different federal districts (see the Geography of the Competition). The All-Russian final will be held in Moscow at the University of Science and Technology MISIS.

At the qualifying stage, experts evaluate only the portfolio (up to 25 points). At the District and All-Russian stages, points are added for completing additional in-person and distance learning tasks.

All finalists and winners will receive diplomas and commemorative prizes. The highest award is the Grand Prix for "Best International Student."
